| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl drop earring with matching necklace, as modelled by Raphael David Maklouf. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left field, with ISLE OF MAN and the date 1996 arranged along the right.
