Reverse description The central field features a three-quarter bust portrait of the Duke of Wellington in military uniform, adorned with braided aiguillettes and a star decoration. To the left, a color-enameled plaque bearing the Union Flag is inscribed GREAT BRITISH HEROES. In the right middle ground, a diminutive equestrian figure on horseback evokes the battlefield scene of Waterloo. The legend DUKE OF WELLINGTON arcs along the upper periphery, with the inscription Hero of Waterloo 1815 in the upper right field. The denomination ONE CROWN appears in bold letters along the lower rim, all within a beaded border.
