Issued to commemorate the HBO/DreamWorks miniseries based on Stephen Ambrose's account of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, this coin arrived on the series' fourth anniversary. Gibraltar has been a prolific issuer of pop-culture commemoratives since the 1990s, leveraging its Crown coinage largely as a collector revenue mechanism rather than circulating currency.
