Reverse description A Tudor imperial crown occupies the central field, rendered in fine detail with fleurs-de-lis, crosses pattée, and jewelled circlet. The crown is encircled by a continuous wreath composed of English Tudor roses, Scottish thistles, and Irish shamrocks intertwined on a common stem. The abbreviated legend IND· ·IMP· ·FID· ·DEF· is disposed around the upper periphery within the wreath, and the date 1937 appears in the lower field below the wreath.
