Avro Lancaster, facing left, in flight over Lincoln Cathedral with two clouds around it. At the top is an original piece of metal from an original Lancaster flown during the Second World War (1939-1945). To the left of this is the aircraft`s name, and to the right is its years in active service with the Royal Air Force. The denomination of the coin is at the bottom, just below the cathedral.
