Reverse description Central crowned circular medallion bearing the effigy of Queen Therese surrounded by eight smaller circular medallions, each containing a portrait of a royal family member — the princes and princesses of Bavaria. The names of each depicted individual are inscribed around the respective medallions: Therese as Queen, and the royal children Otto, Maximilian, Mathilde, Adelgunde, Hildegard, Alexandra, Adalbert, and Luitpold, all identified with the abbreviation P. V. B. (Prinz/Prinzessin von Bayern). The motto SEGEN DES HIMMELS (Blessing of Heaven) appears in the legend, and the Roman date MDCCCXXVIII is inscribed at the base.
