Reverse description Central oval shield bearing the arms of Saxony — barry of ten or and sable with a bend sinister charged with a crown of rue — surmounted by an elaborate royal crown. The shield is flanked and encircled by two crossed palm branches tied at the base, forming a wreath-like surround. The mint master's initials S·C·H· appear in the lower exergue beneath the palm fronds. The circumferential legend ZEHN EINE FEINE MARK · 1806 runs around the beaded border, indicating the fineness standard of ten coins to one Cologne mark of fine silver.
