| Obverse description | Draped bust of Francis Conrad of Rodt facing left, depicted in ecclesiastical vestments with a pectoral cross and lace collar, his hair styled in the curled periwig fashion of the mid-18th century. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail typical of the work of Friedrich Heuglin. A continuous Latin legend encircles the portrait, with the engraver's initials F H appearing in the lower field beneath the truncation. The inner border is formed by a raised ring separating the legend from the milled edge. |
