Obverse description Elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Duchy of Anhalt-Bernburg, surmounted by a crowned helmet with crest, all displayed on an ermine-lined princely mantle draped symmetrically to either side and tied with tasselled cords. The shield incorporates multiple heraldic quarterings including eagles, bears, horizontal barry fields, and checkered sections, reflecting the composite territorial claims of the ruling house. The mantle is suspended from a ducal crown positioned at the top centre of the field. The composition is rendered in fine engraved detail with no peripheral legend on the obverse.

Reverse description Central five-line inscription within a closed laurel wreath, stating the denomination and fineness standard, with the date and mint master initials below. The surrounding border legend, separated from the wreath by the rim, carries the full titulature of the ruling duke in Latin characters. The denomination indicates the coin's relationship to the Cologne Mark fine silver standard in accordance with Conventions coinage regulations.
