At the top, Chinese characters read 光華商店代信券 (Guanghua Shangdian credit voucher) within a decorative border of scrollwork and floral ornaments. A central vignette contains a circular double-happiness medallion above a six-petaled rosette enclosing the large denomination characters 壹角 (one chiao); a small red seal impression appears below the rosette, with the date 中華民國二十七年 (Republic of China Year 27) running along the lower margin. |
