Obverse description Blue and grey note with the USSR State emblem (hammer and sickle within wheat wreath) as a vignette to the left, flanked by ornate guilloche rosettes bearing the numeral "1" at both right and left margins. The central field carries the main title inscription in bold Cyrillic letterpress across the upper register, with the denomination ОДИН ЧЕРВОНЕЦ rendered in large display type across the centre. Below, three columns of printed conditions of issue appear in small text, followed by five manuscript signatures of bank officials; the year 1926 appears at lower left, and the serial number in black at upper right and lower left.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in dark blue on a plain cream ground and is dominated by a large central oval guilloche medallion enclosing the bold numeral "1" in gothic script. The medallion is encircled by a ring of fine engine-turned lathe-work bearing the repeated inscription ЧЕРВОНЕЦ, and flanked symmetrically on each side by the word ЧЕРВОНЕЦ within further guilloche panels. The overall design is purely typographic and geometric, with no pictorial vignette.
