Obverse description Central field features the double-headed Imperial eagle, the coat of arms of Russia, displayed with spread wings and detailed regalia. The legend ВЕЛИКАЯ РОССИЯ (Great Russia) arcs along the upper rim, while the denomination ОДИН ЧЕРВОНЕЦ (One Chervonets) is inscribed along the lower rim. The design is rendered in high relief against a smooth field, bordered by a beaded inner circle near the rim.
