| Obverse description | Central square depression or raised square frame dominates the field, a design element evoking traditional Southeast Asian cash-coin iconography. Surrounding the central square, a circular Khmer legend reads 'ព្រះបាទសម្តេចព្រះនរោត្តម' (referring to King Norodom I), arranged along the inner border. Two small raised dots appear at the left and right sides of the field, flanking the central motif. The overall design is austere, with no figurative portrait, reflecting the stylistic conventions of this French Protectorate-era pattern issue. |
