Reverse description The denomination numeral 1 and the word CENTAVO are displayed prominently in the central field, below which appear the date 1841 and the Mexico City mintmark Mo. The entire central device is encircled by a wreath composed of olive branches on the left and oak branches on the right, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. A fine toothed border runs along the inner rim, consistent with the milled technique employed throughout this pattern issue.
