| Obverse description | Entirely printed in red, the note is laid out with a mosaic-pattern guilloche background divided into horizontal bands and corner cartouches bearing a monogram cipher. At center, an ornate oval cartouche with baroque scrollwork frames an allegorical winged figure, surmounted by a ribbon device and pendant with a star ornament below. The denomination "1 CENT" appears in large letterpress numerals and text flanking the central vignette on either side. |
