| Obverse description | Dark olive-green letterpress-printed note with a decorative scrollwork border running the full perimeter. The issuer title 'Câmara Municipal de Mafra' is set in bold lettering across the upper panel, beneath which a central rectangular cartouche carries the denomination inscription 'Vale 1 centavo' over a yellow-green guilloche underprint with the numeral '1' in large format.
