| Obverse description | Printed entirely in green on cream paper, the obverse is framed by a decorative border of foliate and guilloche motifs, with ribbon cartouches bearing the initials "C.M.L." in the lower corners. A central circular vignette displays the municipal coat of arms of Loulé — a crenellated tower with a tree rising above — flanked by laurel sprays, with the inscription "8.ª EMISSÃO" on a ribbon below. The denomination numeral "1" appears in two solid dark roundels to either side, above the word "CENTAVO", with the issuer name on a scrolled banner at the top and the authorising deliberation date and the facsimile signature of the President of the Executive Commission at the bottom. |
