| Obverse description | Draped bust of Liberty facing right, her hair swept upward and secured with a fillet inscribed LIBERTAD across the brow, with an olive branch visible behind the head. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA arcs around the upper and left fields, while the date appears prominently in the lower exergue area. The portrait is rendered in a neoclassical style with fine detail in the hair and drapery, the whole design contained within a plain inner border. |
