Obverse description The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring an oval shield displaying a mountain landscape with a radiant sun above and a llama at the base, flanked by crossed Bolivian flags and rifles on either side, surmounted by a condor with wings displayed. A wreath of laurel and olive branches frames the lower portion of the shield, while a row of nine five-pointed stars runs along the lower rim. The circular legend REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA arcs around the upper periphery in Latin script, and the entire design is bordered by a continuous beaded inner rim.
