| Obverse description | Green letterpress on cream paper, framed by a decorative guilloche border along the full perimeter; the municipal coat of arms appears at upper left and a crowned CMB monogram cartouche at upper right, flanking the issuer title in bold capitals. The denomination 'VALE 1 Centavo' is set in large type above a central architectural vignette rendered as a street-level panorama of Braga's main square with the cathedral tower and civic buildings.
