| Obverse description | Draped bust of Liberty facing left, wearing a turreted or liberty cap adorned with an eagle at the crown, her hair arranged in loose curls. The effigy occupies the central field, with the circular legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcing along the upper periphery. The truncation of the bust is visible at the lower portion of the field, and the design is executed in low relief in the neoclassical style typical of Chilean coinage of the early twentieth century. |
