Obverse description The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting an oval shield enclosing a mountain landscape with a llama, a breadfruit tree, and a radiant sun above. The shield is flanked by crossed cannons, rifles, and fasces, surmounted by a condor with wings displayed. Nine five-pointed stars arc along the lower periphery. The circular legend REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA runs along the upper rim, separated from the inner design by a continuous beaded border.
