Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of Queen Victoria facing left, wearing the small imperial state crown set atop flowing hair gathered at the nape with a ribbon. The effigy, engraved by Leonard Charles Wyon, presents the monarch in a mature portrait with finely detailed hair waves. The peripheral legend reads VICTORIA to the left and QUEEN to the right, divided by the portrait. A toothed border frames the entire design.
