Obverse description The reverse die of the 1946 Lincoln Wheat cent serves as the obverse of this countermarked piece, displaying the denomination ONE CENT in large relief at center, with the legend E PLURIBUS UNUM above and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA below, flanked by two wheat stalks. A bold countermark bearing the number 133 has been applied centrally across the field, attributable to the United Fruit Company for use as a plantation token in Honduras.
