| Obverse description | Printed in orange-red on pale paper, the obverse is dominated by an intricate central guilloche rosette within a star-shaped frame, bearing the large Chinese numeral denomination 壹分 (1 cent). The bank title 貴州省銀行 (Provincial Bank of Kweichow) is inscribed in large characters across the top, flanked by alphanumeric serial numbers on either side. Two official seal cartouches appear at the lower left and right of the central vignette, and the date 中華民國三十八年 (Republic of China Year 38) is inscribed along the lower border, with the printer's imprint below. |

| Reverse description | The reverse, also printed in orange-red, carries a central intaglio-style vignette of the Provincial Bank of Kweichow building, a multi-storey Art Deco structure rendered with fine line engraving against a clouded sky. The English inscription THE PROVINCIAL BANK OF KWEICHOW arches across the top within a decorative banner, and the denomination 1 CENT appears in rectangular panels to the left and right. The year 1949 is displayed in an oval cartouche at the bottom centre, flanked by two facsimile signature inscriptions in Chinese cursive script. |
