Reverse description The Jamaican coat of arms is again depicted centrally on this mule piece, mirroring the obverse design with the quartered shield flanked by two standing Taino supporters on a motto scroll. The royal helmet and crocodile crest surmount the shield, with a pineapple above. The legend JAMAICA curves along the upper periphery, the date 1982 is positioned in the lower field, and the motto OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE appears on the scroll, making both faces of this mule effectively identical in design.
