| Obverse description | Draped bust of Liberty facing right, her flowing hair adorned with a liberty cap on a pole rising behind her head — the defining emblematic device of this series. The legend LIBERTY arcs along the upper periphery, while the date appears in the exergue below the truncation. The portrait, engraved in the neoclassical style, displays finely detailed hair curls cascading over the shoulder, with a plain field surrounding the effigy. A beaded border encircles the entire obverse. |
