British Honduras retained the "ET IND:IMP" titulature on George VI coinage only until 1948, when India's independence forced a redesign across the entire British colonial series. The KM#21 type thus spans exactly the window between George VI's accession and that constitutional rupture — a bracket defined entirely by geopolitics rather than any scheduled reissue cycle.
