| Obverse description | Central denomination numeral flanked by the date, enclosed within a decorative border composed of three Favoured Tellin shells (Arcopagia fausta) evenly distributed and separated by groups of ten pearls arranged in a circular pattern around the field. The design reflects the island's natural marine heritage with a stylized, symmetrical composition. |

The Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten came into existence in 2010 when the Netherlands Antilles was formally dissolved, splitting monetary authority between Curaçao and Sint Maarten as constituent countries of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The bank inherited its mandate — and the Netherlands Antillean guilder, rebranded as the Caribbean guilder — from an institution that had managed currency for a six-island federation since 1962.
A 2025 date places this among the earliest physical issues under the Caribbean guilder transition, long delayed from its originally projected rollout dates.
