(Translation: French Republic)
Reverse description Four large Chinese characters arranged in a cruciform pattern around the central circular hole, reading '一百分之一' (one hundredth), with the characters positioned above, below, and to each side of the aperture. The Latin legend 'INDO - CHINE FRANÇAISE' arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border, and the date appears in the lower exergue. The entire design is enclosed within an inner beaded circle and an outer beaded border, creating a bold bilingual presentation characteristic of French Indochinese colonial issues.
