Obverse description	The obverse of this rectangular colour-printed silver issue presents a composite artistic design merging two of Vincent van Gogh's most celebrated works. To the left, a swirling nocturnal sky evocative of 'The Starry Night' (1889) forms the background, with turbulent vortices rendered in deep cobalt and cerulean. To the right, Van Gogh's 'Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat' (1887) occupies the foreground, depicting the artist in three-quarter bust facing left, wearing a grey felt hat and blue jacket with characteristic impasto brushwork. The coat of arms of the Republic of Ghana is prominently placed to the left of centre, accompanied by the circular legend 'REPUBLIC OF GHANA' and the inscription 'FREEDOM AND JUSTICE'. The denomination and fineness are inscribed in the field: '5g Ag 999 · 1 CEDI · 2026'.
