| Obverse description | Round cast bronze coin featuring a central square hole surrounded by a raised inner rim. The four-character reign title legend 咸雍通寶 (Xianyong Tongbao) is arranged in regular script (kaishu) in cruciform order around the central perforation, reading top-bottom-right-left. The characters are bold and well-defined in relief against a flat field, consistent with Liao dynasty casting style. The outer rim is raised and moderately broad, showing typical wear and a green patina. |
