| Obverse description | Central square perforation surrounded by four Chinese characters rendered in clerical script (lishu), one positioned in each quadrant of the field. The four-character reign title legend reads clockwise: 咸 (Xian, top), 康 (Kang, right), 元 (Yuan, bottom), 寶 (Bao, left). The characters are boldly cast in raised relief with broad strokes characteristic of Five Dynasties-period cash coinage. No inner or outer rim decoration is present beyond the plain raised borders framing the central aperture and the coin's circumference. |

| Reverse description | Plain uniface reverse bearing no inscriptions, decorative elements, or mint marks. The central square perforation is cleanly defined by a raised inner rim, with the surrounding field left entirely blank. The surface exhibits characteristic casting texture consistent with Five Dynasties-period bronze cash production. |
