| Reverse description | The reverse displays two Manchu script characters in relief, one on each side of the central square perforation, reading vertically from top to bottom. The left character reads ᠪᠣᠣ (Boo) and the right character reads ᡶᡠ (Fu), together identifying the Fuzhou mint. The characters are cast in a rounded, somewhat compressed style typical of Qing-era provincial mint issues. A plain raised rim borders the coin on the reverse as on the obverse. |
