| Reverse description | Central square perforation flanked by two Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu): the mint identifier 臨 (Lin, for Linqing) to the right of the hole, and the denomination/weight notation 一厘 (Yi Li, meaning one li, equivalent to 1/1000 of a liang of silver) to the left. The characters are cast in bold relief within a plain raised rim, the field otherwise devoid of ornament, consistent with the standardised Type 4 format of Shunzhi-era cash coinage. |
