Obverse description Cast brass cash coin with a central square perforation, bearing the four-character reign title legend 順治通寶 (Shunzhi Tongbao) arranged in cruciform order — read top, bottom, right, left — in bold kaishu (regular script). The well-formed characters occupy the four quadrants between the square central hole and the raised inner rim, with the intervening field left plain. A distinct raised outer rim frames the entire obverse, consistent with early Qing Dynasty casting conventions.
