Reverse description Arabic mint legend arranged around the central square hole in cast relief, reading in two lines flanking the perforation. The inscription identifies the place of issue as 'Dar al-Sultanat Kuqa' (the Sultanate of Kucha), with the word 'Zarb' (struck) preceding the mint name. The lettering is in the same bold, somewhat rustic cast Arabic style as the obverse, consistent with the provincial mint production of the Kuchean Khanate. The rim is plain and slightly irregular, characteristic of cast copper cash issues of this period.
