| Obverse description | Cast copper cash coin with a central square perforation surrounded by a plain raised inner rim and a broad outer rim. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in the traditional reading order — top, bottom, right, left — forming the reign title inscription 光中通寶 (Quang Trung Thông Bảo). The characters are rendered in bold, well-defined relief against a flat field. The overall style is consistent with Vietnamese cast coinage of the late eighteenth century. |
