Obverse description Cast brass cash coin featuring a central square perforation surrounded by four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), arranged in cruciform reading order: top to bottom and right to left. The legend 乾隆通寶 (Qianlong Tongbao) fills the four quadrants of the field, with the characters 乾 (top) and 隆 (bottom) on the vertical axis, and 通 (right) and 寶 (left) on the horizontal axis. The characters are bold and well-defined in raised relief, enclosed within a plain inner rim bordering the square hole and a raised outer rim encircling the coin's periphery. The overall style is consistent with mid-Qing dynasty imperial cast coinage.

Reverse description The reverse displays two Manchu script characters in raised relief, one positioned to the left of the central square hole and one to the right, reading vertically in the traditional Manchu manner. The left character reads 'Boo' (ᠪᠣᠣ) and the right reads 'guwang' (ᡤᡠᠸᠠᠩ), together forming the Manchu transliteration of the Guangdong mint name. The characters are rendered in the angular, cursive Manchu style characteristic of Qing dynasty cash coinage, flanked by plain inner and outer rims consistent with the obverse.
