Obverse description Round brass cash coin featuring a central square perforation flanked by four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), arranged in cruciform fashion reading top-to-bottom and right-to-left: 康熙通寶 (Kangxi Tongbao, meaning 'Current treasure of the Kangxi [era]'). The characters are boldly cast in raised relief against a flat field, with the square hole framed by a raised square rim. The outer edge is defined by a raised circular border, consistent with standard Qing dynasty cash coin typology.

Reverse description Round brass cash coin with a central square perforation, flanked on the left and right by two Manchu script characters in raised relief reading 'Boo-fu' (ᠪᠣᠣ ᡶᡠ), denoting the Fuzhou Mint bureau. The Manchu characters are rendered in the cursive style typical of Qing cash coinage, positioned symmetrically to either side of the square hole. A raised inner square rim surrounds the perforation, and a raised circular border delineates the outer edge of the flat field.
