Obverse description Round cast iron cash coin bearing the four-character reign title inscription 靖康通寶 (Jingkang Tongbao) rendered in clerical script (lishu), disposed in the traditional cross reading arrangement — top, bottom, right, left — around a central square perforation. The characters are boldly cast in raised relief against a flat field, with the square hole framed by a raised inner rim. A broad outer rim encircles the coin, typical of Northern Song cash coinage. The overall casting shows the characteristic texture and patination of iron cash production.
