Reverse description Central square perforation flanked by two Manchu script characters, one on each side, reading vertically and separated by the square hole. The left character reads 'Boo' (寶) and the right reads 'jyi' (吉), together forming the mint name 'Boo-jyi,' identifying the Board of Revenue Mint in Beijing. The Manchu glyphs are rendered in raised relief with a flowing, cursive character typical of Qing-era cast coinage, set against a flat, unadorned field bounded by plain inner and outer rims.
