Reverse description Two Manchu script words arranged vertically on either side of the central square hole, reading 'Boo-chiowan' (ᠪᠣᠣ ᠴᡳᠣᠸᠠᠨ), the Manchu rendering of the mint name for the Board of Revenue Mint in Beijing. A dot appears above the Manchu inscription, serving as a variety marker distinguishing this emission from related issues. The reverse field is otherwise plain, framed by a broad, raised outer rim consistent with standard Qing dynasty cash coinage of the period.
