| Reverse description | Plain flat field surrounding the central square perforation, which is bordered by a raised square inner rim. Two Chinese characters in kaishu (regular script), reading 一錢 (Yi Qian, meaning 'one qian' denoting the coin's weight denomination), are cast in raised relief to the right of the square hole. A plain raised outer rim frames the reverse, while the remainder of the field is left entirely uninscribed. |
