| Obverse description | Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) arranged in the traditional cash-coin format, reading top-to-bottom and right-to-left around the central square hole. The two characters flanking the hole vertically read 和順 (Heshun), while the two characters positioned horizontally read 公司 (Gongsi, meaning Company). The legends are rendered in raised relief within a plain inner square rim and a raised outer circular rim, consistent with the casting tradition of contemporary Qing dynasty cash coinage. |
