Obverse description Central field displays the crowned royal cypher of Frederik III of Denmark, rendered as the interlaced monogram 'F3' surmounted by a royal crown. The design is crudely struck in the hammered tradition, characteristic of small denomination colonial cash coinage produced at Tranquebar. The flan is irregular and shows typical lead patination with uneven surfaces. No surrounding legend is present, the monogram and crown occupying the entirety of the flat field.

Reverse description The reverse displays a swan in profile, a heraldic device associated with the Danish East India Company's Tranquebar mint. The bird is depicted with wings partially extended and facing to one side, executed in a primitive, low-relief hammered style consistent with the crude workmanship typical of Danish Indian cash coinage. The flan edges are rough and irregular, and the overall strike is weak in places due to the soft lead composition. No legend or additional inscription accompanies the device.
