| Obverse description | Central field bears the uncrowned royal cypher of Christian VI, composed of an interlaced 'C6' monogram rendered in relief without a crown above. The monogram is presented in a simple, somewhat crude style consistent with locally struck hammered coinage. The coin's irregular flan and flat fields are characteristic of the primitive minting techniques employed at the Danish India settlements. No surrounding legend is present. |
