Reverse description Plain reverse field with a central square perforation surrounded by raised inner and outer rims. The single mint-identifier character 廣 (Guang, denoting Guangdong province) is prominently cast above the square hole in bold regular script, serving as the mint mark for the Guangdong Provincial Mint. The remaining three quadrants of the reverse field are blank. The surface carries a heavy grey-white calcareous encrustation over the underlying brass fabric, typical of circulated late Ming cash coinage.
