Obverse description Central square perforation surrounded by a raised inner rim, with four seal-script Chinese characters disposed in the four cardinal positions around the hole, reading top-to-bottom and right-to-left: 景興通寶 (Cảnh Hưng Thông Bảo). The characters are rendered in the archaic zhuanshu (seal script) style, with rounded, formal strokes characteristic of Vietnamese cast cash of the Lê dynasty. A plain raised outer rim borders the coin. The flat field between the characters and the rims is unadorned.

Reverse description Plain, featureless reverse with a central square perforation enclosed by a raised inner rim and a plain raised outer rim. The field between the rims is smooth and entirely devoid of inscription or decoration, consistent with the uniface casting tradition of Vietnamese Lê-dynasty cash coinage.
