Reverse description Plain flat field with a central square perforation framed by a raised inner rim and outer border rim. The character 洪 (Hong), denoting the Hongzhou mint, appears to the right of the square hole. A crescent-shaped mark is positioned above the square hole between the inner and outer rims, serving as an additional mint or workshop identifier. The surface displays a mottled dark brown and reddish-brown patina with scattered green oxidation, consistent with Tang-period cast bronze coinage.
